Cooldown Privacy Policy

Cooldown helps users monitor phone temperature and receive practical low-heat suggestions. This policy explains what data the app handles.

Data stored on your device

Cooldown stores app settings, Pro entitlement status, and recent temperature samples locally on your device. This information is used to display temperature history, alerts, and preferences. We do not operate a server that receives this data.

Advertising and consent

The free version of Cooldown uses Google AdMob to show banner ads. Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform may collect or process device identifiers, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and consent choices according to Google's policies.

Purchases

Cooldown Pro is sold through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes purchases and payments. The app stores only whether Pro is active so it can remove ads and unlock Pro features.

Permissions

Notifications are used only when you enable heat alerts or low-temperature monitoring. Write settings access is used only if you explicitly enable automatic brightness reduction. Foreground service access is used to keep temperature monitoring visible and controllable while it is running.

Children

Cooldown is not designed for children.
