Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner Privacy Policy
Short version: Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner is a local-first Android storage organizer. Scanning and cleanup review happen on your device, and your files are not uploaded for cleanup suggestions. The Free version may show one Dashboard ad. Release builds use Firebase Crashlytics for automatic crash and ANR diagnostics. Optional, privacy-controlled product measurement lets Angora report only a small custom event set with no file or scan details; Firebase's standard automatic data is described below.
Privacy Policy
1. What Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner does
Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner helps you review storage usage and cleanup candidates on Android. It can scan media, documents, downloads, and folders that you choose to add. Cleanup actions are conservative: you review candidates before continuing, and Android may ask you to confirm file changes.
2. Local-first processing
Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner performs scanning, classification, cleanup planning, cleanup history, and ignore rules locally on your device. Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner does not upload your files, filenames, file contents, scan results, cleanup history, or ignore rules to our servers for cleanup suggestions.
Guided Review reads your current completed scan result and stores draft decisions locally. Media Compression reads a supported photo or video that you select and creates a new copy on your device; the media, thumbnail, metadata, progress, and result are not uploaded for processing. Opaque photos may be converted to lossy JPEG, transparent photos use WebP, and supported videos are converted to MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio. Angora does not promise that every metadata field is preserved or that every copy is lossless. The original remains in place unless you separately review and confirm cleanup through Android's normal confirmation flow.
3. Permissions and data access
Depending on your Android version and the features you use, Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner may request or open settings for the following access:
- Photos, videos, audio, and external storage access: used to find files that Android allows Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner to read and review.
- Folder access through Android's system picker: used only for folders you explicitly add. You can revoke this access in Android settings.
- Usage Access: used to estimate installed app storage, cache, and recent-use signals from Android system data when you enable app suggestions.
- Optional notification permission: used only if you enable Pro storage-change notifications. Denial does not block scanning, cleanup, or Storage Changes.
- Package deletion request capability: used to ask Android to show uninstall or deletion confirmation where supported.
Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner does not request all-files management access for the current release.
4. Information stored on your device
Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner may store local app data such as scan indexes, fingerprint cache data for duplicate detection, cleanup history, pending cleanup records, ignored folder rules, your product-measurement preference, and evidence that Google Play previously confirmed Pro ownership. This information is stored on your device and is used to make scanning, review, history, privacy controls, and Pro restoration work.
Resumable Guided Review sessions and active media-compression jobs are also stored as local operational state. Android Auto Backup is disabled for the application, so these sessions, jobs, and local storage evidence are not included in Auto Backup.
Storage Changes keeps Free and Pro comparison evidence only on your device in a bounded 90-day window. It stores aggregate storage measurements and, for large-item comparison, opaque identities rather than historical names, paths, URIs, thumbnails, file contents, or a complete inventory. Clear Storage Change History removes this comparison evidence and its review state, cancels an in-progress scheduled comparison and the current change notification, but does not delete user files, Cleanup History, or the Completed Scan Snapshot. An explicit Pro entitlement revocation hides personal insights, disables scheduled checks and change notifications, and retains only the same bounded local evidence for future Free scans or a later repurchase.
5. Cleanup and deletion safety
Scanning is read-only. Before cleanup, Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner builds a cleanup plan and asks you to review the selected files. Android may show confirmation sheets before files are trashed, deleted, restored, or otherwise changed. Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner records cleanup results locally so you can review what happened.
6. Feedback email
If you choose to send feedback, your email app may send your message, email address, subject, and any details you include to tamariskx@gmail.com. Please do not include sensitive files or private information in feedback unless you intentionally choose to share it.
7. Third-party services
Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner uses the following Google services. These services do not receive your files for cleanup analysis.
- Firebase Crashlytics: release builds automatically report crashes and ANRs so Angora can diagnose reliability problems. A report may include a stack trace, exception message, relevant application state, point-in-time application and device metadata, and a Crashlytics installation UUID used to measure affected installations. Angora does not deliberately add filenames, paths, URIs, storage inventories, cleanup contents, custom keys, custom logs, non-fatal exception reports, or user identifiers as custom crash context. Debug and benchmark builds do not initialize Crashlytics. Crash reporting is independent from advertising, Pro ownership, and the optional Share usage data setting. If you separately enable Firebase Analytics, its allowlisted events may also appear as Crashlytics breadcrumb context; Analytics-derived breadcrumbs remain Off while Share usage data is Off.
- Firebase Analytics: after you explicitly enable Share usage data, Angora itself reports only a closed event set. Storage Changes adds exactly
storage_changes_opened,change_review_action,scheduled_check_preference_changed,scheduled_check_outcome, andchange_notification_opened; their optional values are fixed action, enabled-state, or outcome enums. Angora does not put names, filenames, paths, URIs, MIME types, file or app inventories, categories, item counts, byte amounts, dimensions, durations, compression presets, codecs, ratios, coverage, cleanup contents, permission details, baseline facts, notification body text, Play account details, transaction identifiers, or purchase tokens in these custom events. Opening a Guided Review or Media Compression offer reports only a fixed entry-source value. Firebase also automatically processes standard app-instance, app-version, device, operating-system, first-open, lifecycle, session, and masked-IP-derived approximate-location information while collection is enabled. If the Firebase app is linked to Google Play, Firebase can additionally collect automatic in-app-purchase events with product and price information. Angora disables Firebase advertising-identifier collection, ad-personalization signals, and automatic screen reporting. - Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): the Free version may request one banner on the Dashboard after applicable advertising consent permits it. Google selects and delivers the advertisement and may process device, advertising, interaction, diagnostic, and approximate-location information under Google's policies. Pro does not request ads.
- Google Play Billing: Google Play processes the one-time Pro purchase and restoration flow. Angora receives purchase status and entitlement evidence needed to unlock or restore Pro, but does not send Play account or transaction details to Firebase Analytics.
Product measurement is separate from crash reporting, advertising eligibility, and Pro ownership. Free and Pro use the same event boundary. Share usage data defaults to Off; collection starts only after you explicitly enable it in Settings > Privacy. You can withdraw that choice there at any time, which immediately stops future product measurement and denies Analytics storage. Crash reporting remains active in release builds. Google's advertising privacy choices remain a separate control.

1. Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner
storage_changes_opened、change_review_action、scheduled_check_preference_changed、scheduled_check_outcome和change_notification_opened;可选值仅为固定的操作、启用状态或结果枚举。
8. 儿童
Angora Clean: Storage Cleaner
